ReCollect

Terms of Service

Last updated 22 October 2026

These terms cover your use of ReCollect. By creating an account you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

Your account

You're responsible for keeping your sign-in details safe and for what happens under your account. You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account.

Your content

The quotes, notes and reflections you add stay yours. You give us permission to store and process them only to provide the service to you — for example to resurface them, show them in widgets, and generate AI readings. Only add content you have the right to keep; short passages from books you read for personal reflection are what ReCollect is for.

AI features

AI readings, reflection questions and suggested classics are generated automatically. They can be incomplete or wrong, and they are not professional advice. Use your own judgement.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service: no attempts to break or overload it, access other people's data, reverse engineer it, or use it for anything unlawful.

Availability and changes

We work to keep ReCollect running smoothly but can't promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change or discontinue features; if we make a material change to these terms we'll tell you in the app, and continuing to use it means you accept the new terms.

Liability

ReCollect is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be waived.

Ending your use

You can stop using ReCollect and delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms.
